New flagship · For workers 50+

Second Income. Real Security.

Platform work does not come with a pension, an accident cover or a grievance officer who answers. SilverShift gives an older gig worker three things in one place — a savings cushion that builds itself, work from employers who do not filter you out by age, and clear answers about the welfare you already qualify for.

No card. No commitment. Large text on by default.

What actually goes wrong after 50

Income falls before you are ready

Ratings, night shifts and physically hard slots quietly stop coming. Earnings drop years before any pension age.

The welfare exists — the claim does not

e-Shram, state gig-worker boards and accident cover are real. Most eligible workers never register, or register and never claim.

One accident wipes out a decade

Without cover, a hospital week becomes a loan at 3–5% a month, repaid out of daily earnings that are already shrinking.

How it works

Three pillars, one app

Financial Wallet

Round up every day's earnings into a savings cushion, and layer accident cover and pension on top.

Work Feed

Age-friendly, low-strain work from employers who pledge no age filter — filtered by city and physical strain.

Legal Navigator

Know your entitlements, register for e-Shram, and generate a grievance draft when a platform deactivates you unfairly.

Get registered — the six-step e-Shram checklist

You do this on the Government of India's own portal. We never ask for your Aadhaar number or OTP.

  1. 1

    Keep three things ready

Aadhaar-linked mobile number, a bank account number with IFSC, and your Aadhaar number. Nothing else is needed.

  2. 2

    Open the official e-Shram portal

Register on the Government of India's own portal. We never ask for your Aadhaar or OTP — you enter it only on the government site.

    Open the official portal →
  3. 3

Verify with the OTP on your Aadhaar-linked phone

If your mobile is not linked to Aadhaar, visit any CSC centre — biometric registration is free there.

  4. 4

    Choose the correct occupation code

Pick 'Transport worker', 'Delivery worker' or 'Domestic worker' as it applies. This decides which welfare board can reach you.

  5. 5

Download and save your UAN card

Save the PDF and note the 12-digit UAN. Most state welfare schemes ask for it.

  6. 6

Then check your state welfare board

Several states run a separate gig-worker welfare board with its own benefits on top of e-Shram.

Questions people ask first

Who is SilverShift for?+

Cab drivers, delivery riders, domestic and facility workers, and any platform worker who is 50 or older — or getting close to it — and has little or no retirement cover.

Is this an insurance or investment product?+

No. SilverShift is a savings-habit ledger, a work feed and a legal-information layer. Insurance and pension enrolment is done with regulated partners on their own platforms; we guide you there and track the status.

Is the legal help legal advice?+

No. SilverShift gives legal information and generates document drafts. Dare to Law is not a law firm. Anything you intend to file can be sent for review by an independent empanelled advocate, whose professional fee is disclosed separately.

Do I need a smartphone or good English?+

A basic smartphone is enough. Everything is in large, high-contrast text and works in Hindi and English, and large-text mode is switched on by default for every SilverShift account.

What does the free tier actually give me?+

The full e-Shram and welfare registration checklist, the entitlement explainer, read access to the age-friendly job feed, and three AI entitlement questions a month. No card needed.

How is my data handled?+

Under the same DPDP Act 2023 posture as the rest of Dare to Law: we store only what eligibility and contact need, your wallet and enrolment rows are row-level-scoped to you alone, and we never display your date of birth back to anyone — only an age band.

SilverShift provides legal information and document automation only. This is not legal advice, and Dare to Law is not a law firm. Anything you intend to file should be reviewed by a licensed advocate — you can request that review from this screen.

This is legal information, not legal advice. Every binding document is reviewed and signed by one of our independent, empanelled advocates before dispatch — no single advocate is being advertised or solicited on this platform (Advocates Act 1961 · BCI Rule 36).
